A strange science fiction spaghetti western black comedy. "Atoradro" is the impressive debut work of screenwriter and director Oscar Ebar, which will attract fans of Alex de la Iglesia's "Axion Mutant" and "El Dia de la bestia". These three movies all have a similar quirky sense of humor and are willing to ignore genre limitations. I don't know what happened in Spain in the mid-1990s, but I hope that some of the creativity and vitality of these movies can now be introduced to Hollywood in the United States. The background of this movie is set at the end of this century, and we are told that the towns between big cities have become lawless wastelands. For this, he must confront the judge and his disliked confidants, because no one can leave Atoradro alive. This movie is really fresh and interesting. It combines elements of post apocalyptic science fiction genre (such as Mad Max, Boy and His Dog, Ultimate Warrior, etc.) with classic Sergio Leonet al. nihilism, extensive Alex Cox subversion, and the pathological humor of Garth Ennis. Highly recommended.
